About this kit
Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a pathogenic bacteria that infects the lungs and causes the disease tuberculosis. PCR to detect Mycobacterium tuberculosis has been reported using the primers provided in the kit. In addition, these primers have been validated at Biotium for real-time qPCR using Forget-Me-Not™ EvaGreen® qPCR Master Mix. Note: groEL2 primers also amplify other mycobacteria species, but products may be distinguishable by melt curve analysis.
