Highest anti-EpCAM binding affinity in the world.
EpCAM (CD326), also known as tumour-associated calcium signal transducer 1 (TACSTD1) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of 39-42 kDa, consisting of 314 amino acids.
Â
EpCAM is expressed on the basolateral membrane of all simple, pseudo-stratified, and transitional epithelia. It negatively regulates the expression of p53 and p21 and promotes tumour cell growth, colony formation, migration and invasion.
Â
Anti-EpCAM monoclonal antibodies have shown promise as a diagnostic tool and in antibody-based immunotherapies for a spectrum of malignancies. Comparative assay among different anti-EpCAM mAbs has shown that BioMAb’s BMI-EPCAMAb3 has the highest binding affinity, and provides better sensitivity and specificity for downstream assays.
