On the 3rd August 2022, Atlantis Bioscience’s team from Singapore and Thailand had the honour to be hosted by Dr Chenphop Sawangmake to visit his lab and meet his team at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
Dr Chenphop is the assistant dean of veterinary education and accreditation affairs of the faculty of veterinary science at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. His research interests are in stem cell biology & translational therapy, bioengineering, molecular & cellular pharmacology, diabetes mellitus, bone tissue engineering and corneal regeneration. Dr Chenphop is also working with his team in the field of alternative protein where he and his team have researched the production of imitation pork from tissue culture using their expertise in stem cell technology.
It was indeed a pleasure for the team at Atlantis bioscience to learn about Dr Chenphop and his team’s dedication to various fields of research including alternative proteins, stem cells, animal oncology and more.
